The college has introduced a few awards in
different categories.

Golap Taru Memorial Award: The award is
given annually to the candidate who secures the
highest marks in the H.S. final Examination (not less
the 60% from the college).
·
Pritibala Bora Award: This award is
given to the best graduate of the college.
·
Political Science Association’s Award:
Three prizes are awarded to the three best
participants of the Extempore Speech Competition
organised annually by the “political Science
Association,
North
Gauhati
College
” since 2002.
·
Departmental Awards to the H.S. final
year students of the college for securing highest
marks in Anthropology.
·
Departmental
Awards to the H.S. final year students of the college
for securing highest marks in History.
·
Dr. Nayan Choudhury Memorial Award to
the best Science Graduate of the college annually. The
awardee must obtain minimum 55% marks in major
subjects.
·
Best Reader Award to the student
adjudged as best Library Users.
